Create Incredible Success… 3 Steps To Strengthen Your Power Of Belief

Success means many wonderful things…

Personal prosperity…

Your dream home looking out over the ocean…

Financial security and independence…

Freedom from worries, fears and anxieties…

And most important of all… Happiness!

Look, I’m sure you have many other things you’d like to add to the list, and hopefully, they’re all big… because today, I’m going to talk about aiming high… aiming for the stars!

But, if you’re going to aim for the stars, you’d better be thinking big… because getting that high is no task for small thinkers!

So… are you a big thinker? I hope so!

And if you’re going to aim that high, you’re going to need some real, strong self-belief. You’ll need to be single-minded enough to brush aside a few doubters and push through some set-backs.

Still with me?

Cool!

So, how do you develop a strong power of belief?

Do you have it in you to achieve big success?

Of course you do… you just need to believe in yourself… and believe you can move mountains!

Follow these three steps, and you’ll be well on the road to success… er… I mean big success!

Step 1: Think success… not failure!

When faced with tough challenges, think to yourself… “I’m a winner, I will succeed!” Remove all self-doubt and never feel as though there’s a chance you may fail.

If you’re competing against others, say, in a job interview, say to yourself, “I’m as good as, if not better than, my competitors”. Never see yourself as the underdog or inferior to anyone. That’s not arrogance, it’s creating a positive image of, and for, yourself!

Every time you see an opportunity, say to yourself, “I can do it… I can succeed!” Never put yourself down or worry about failing.

By thinking success, you program your mind to come up with plans that will create that success.

By thinking failure, you will produce failure!

Step 2: Remind yourself constantly, that you’re better than you think you are

Look, there’s no mystique when it comes to success. Successful people are ordinary people, like you and me… not superhuman beings!

Success, doesn’t require super-intellect or extraordinary intelligence – most of the world’s top entrepreneurs left education with very few qualifications.

No, in short, successful people are ordinary people… just like you and me… who have developed incredible belief in themselves and what they are capable of achieving.

Never, ever, sell yourself short… especially to yourself!

Step 3: Believe BIG!

Think big and expect incredible success…

Think small and expect… exactly what you’re asking for… tiny little achievements!

It’s a strange thing, but big goals are often easier to reach than small ones!

So there you have it…

Step 1: Think Success
Step 2: Believe in yourself
Step 3: Think BIG!

Create Yourself Incredible Success!

Until next time…

Make today great!

Change Your Thoughts… Create Abundance!

Thoughts have great power…

They’re the seeds you plant in your mind.

They’ll either make you a success… or hold you back!

By holding onto a particular thought, you invest power in it.

Positive thoughts give you energy and strength.

Negative thoughts rob you of power and are a drain on your energy.

You may find this hard to believe, but, by nature you’re positive, we all are!

Negativity is the result of many things…

Limiting beliefs… some from your childhood…

Society… we’re bombarded by negative news, comments and thoughts… hundreds, if not thousands, of times each and every day…

Friends, family and work colleagues… often inadvertently, by things they say or do…

The list goes on…

But one thing is certain…

You can change if you want to.

You can’t control other people…

You can’t control situations…

You can’t control circumstances…

But you can control what is going on inside you.

You can control your thoughts.

It takes time to change.

It takes time to transform those old patterns of thinking.

But… be patient with yourself.

It all starts with a thought…

It all starts today!

Goal Setting – Take Stock Of Your Life

Take Stock Of Your Life

As 2007 draws to an end, it’s a good idea to look back and take stock… not because the past year will dictate your future, but because you can use last year’s successes, or the lessons learnt, to help set your goals for 2008.

This is a good time to start thinking about what you want more of in 2008… so you can start the new year with a running start!

To help get you started here are a few questions – use them constructively and don’t make judgements about yourself if you’ve fallen short with anything… just make observations and use those observations to move yourself forward. One way to do that is to imagine you’re helping a friend – would you criticise them mercilessly if they’d fallen short on something? Or would you build their confidence with praise and encouragement?

As you work through these questions, write down your answers – it helps to reinforce your thoughts.

You’ll also notice these are fairly general questions – not just related to work. It’s important to create balance in your life, so looking at personal issues such as relationships is just as important as looking at your work.

Hopefully, you’d choose the latter approach!

Please, tell me you would!

OK, let’s get going!

Use these questions to look back at 2007…

  1. What’s your overall feeling about 2007? Good? Bad? OK?
  2. What changed for the better during the last 12 months?
  3. What changed for the worse?
  4. What successes have you had?
  5. What failures?
  6. What are you happy with?
  7. What has disappointed you?
  8. What lessons have you learned?
  9. What have you learned about yourself?
  10. Is there anything you’ve put off?
  11. Does you overall life goal still hold true?
  12. Where did you concentrate most of your energy last year?
  13. Did you move forward last year?
  14. Did you make the most of your gifts and talents?
  15. Are your relationships stronger and better?
  16. Is there anything else you want to comment on from last year?

As ever, write your answers down, that will help you fully assess your current situation and remember… Don’t Judge Yourself… just observe!

Putting yourself down or being over critical will simply destroy your confidence. the important thing is to move forward from now with confidence and focus.

OK, well done, now keep your list safe and come back in a day or two, when I’ll be helping you look forward to 2008 with excitement and anticipation.

Have a great day.
